Science Saturday: Life through the Lens

Ever wonder what kind of life there is in the Schuylkill River?

What about on the microscopic level?

The Schuylkill River is home to a variety of life large and small, amazing and unusual! Join us at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center as we use microscopes and watercolors to explore and illustrate life through the lens.

July 17, 24 and 31, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Each 30-minute session starts on the half hour. No charge.

FWWIC Public Visiting Hours:

Tuesday - Saturday:
10 am - 5 pm

Sunday: 1 pm - 5 pm

The Interpretive Center is closed Mondays and on all City of Philadelphia holidays.

All programs at the Fairmount Water Works Interpretive Center are free of charge and suitable for people of all ages and interests. The Center is fully ADA accessible.
